One for those who like their beats hard and fast. Drum'n'bass is well-represented on the web, but Drum & Bass Arena is the only site that manages to straddle the mélange of styles and influences within the UK (and, to a lesser extent, the US scenes) to produce a compelling and vibrant site. Sporting a bold, semi-industrial interface, the homepage is packed full of links to special features, DJ interviews, reviews of recent parties and the latest news from one of the most active and progressive scenes of the UK underground. Go straight through to featured links or pick a feature listed under the six main channel headings - buy, listen, watch, read, win and interact - on the left-hand side. The site features new live DJ mix streams of excellent quality, and live party webcasts, with all recent streams archived for playback via Windows Media Player in the Listen section of the Records channel.



Catch samples of selected tracks from all major album and single releases, take a trip back to your hardcore junglist massive daze in the classics section of the Listen channel, and seek out that rare vinyl or sell some of your old records via the Shop in the Buy channel. There's also plenty of interactive fun to be had, should you want to vote on the topic of the month on the Polls page or sound off on the scene rant of the month in the hot topic section.
