AN ASSOCIATION OF MUSEUMS
The Réunion des musées nationaux (Rmn) was established at the end of the nineteenth century to raise money and acquire new works of art for national collections in France. Initially made up of only four museums today more than thirty make up the institution, including heavyweights like the Louvre and the Musée d'Orsay.

Les Boutique de Musées is the website for the Rmn museum shops. As well as listings for the stores, there is a brief history of each museum and information on current and future exhibitions. You can also sign up for the regular (and very detailed) Billet d'art newsletter which will keep you informed of forthcoming events and new products.

A WORLD OF CHOICE
The site itself is primarily focused on gift ideas. You can buy all manner of things, from jewellery to textiles, replicas to reproductions. There are more than 1000 gifts on offer here. The products featured are inspired by current as well as permanent exhibitions. Products are also searchable by category such as posters, jewellery and sculpture, and you can even search for selections related to each specific museum and by theme. The site has recently had a makeover and the new zoom feature, which allows users to magnify product images using the magnifying glass icon, makes the online shopping experience a more enjoyable one.
