Websites described as "the official site of…" tend to be antiseptic exercises in marketing and bland self-promotion. It's no surprise that Jeff Bridges website feels nothing like that at all. For a start it's his work, full of his own scribbles, drawings and doodles. JeffBridges.com might have everything you'd expect, like latest news, filmography, interviews and message boards, but the originality of its presentation makes it stand out. There are links to all sorts of things here, including charities and a website for aspiring filmmakers. Look in Stuff for an electric mix of items, from information on motion induced blindness to a link to Isabella Rossellini's bizarre films about animal mating. There's also a guest book and links to Jeff Bridges' music.

One of the great treats of this site is the photography. Jeff Bridges has been taking pictures since high school and there are visual documents from the set of Iron Man, The Amateurs and Crazy Heart to enjoy.
