Victorian Web Authors
This page is part of the excellent Victorian Web, an academic webring run by George P. Landow, the Professor of English and Art History at Brown University. Click on one of the entries in this simple directory to visit the author's homepage on the Victorian Web. Each homepage forms the gateway to a network of links to discussion papers by academics on particular aspects of the author's work. The homepages follow one of two simple formats; either a set of bright blue boxes labelled with a theme which leads to a list of links to relevant articles or a page of links carefully categorised under headings. Homepages for a handful of pre-Victorian writers, including Jane Austen and William Wordsworth, are also accessible. This site is a particularly useful resource for students studying the literature of the period, from the writing of John Stuart Mill to the novels of Wilkie Collins.
