Jasper Fforde is the extraordinarily prolific creator of Thursday Next, a detective like no other, who rescues characters kidnapped from classic novels and mixes it with the Chesire Cat. Fforde has developed a huge cult following and revels in his comic inventiveness, wordplay and silliness, all of which are in evidence on his website.
