Fancy a post-holiday mental (and physical) detox? Time to discover Well+Good, the site obsessed with wellness, fitness, superfoods and natural beauty. Recommended by health nut Gwyneth Paltrow, this wellness site is what you need to maintain any healthy New Year resolutions.

Well+Good

Founded by journalists Alexia Brue and Melissa Gelula in 2010, the online magazine Well+Good keeps users up to date on health fads and the newest trends. Tempted to eat activated charcoal? Or sleep in high-tech infrared pyjamas? Hmm, we’re not sure either. Trust the Well+Good editors to sort through the fads and trends to share with you those that work and warn you off those that don’t.

The site is now run by a team of 20 who, in their own words ‘live and breathe kale’. They divide their content into five clear categories on their top nav; Good Sweat, Good Looks, Good Advice, Good Food and Cities. Recent popular stories include 10 health rules to live by in 2017, the star trainers’ stylist secrets, 8 inspiring tricks for becoming a more confident woman, what’s your gut type? And Cetaphil: Why the popular cleanser isn’t doing your skin any favours.

Kale obsessions aside, we like their tone of voice and informative stories. Their newsletter promises to deliver ‘the coolest and savviest intel on the fitness and wellness scene.’ Last year, the site was Winner of 2016 Webby’s People Voice award for Best Lifestyle Site. Well deserved, we say.
