Another bow to Uber’s arrow; UberEats
, Uber’s on-demand food delivery service has launched a breakfast delivery service in Zones 1 and 2 of London. You can now have bacon butties, pastries or a virtuous bowl of fruit delivered to your office or front door first thing in the morning. Restaurants taking part include Paul, Coco di Mama, Tossed, Leon and Bagel Factory.
“We are incredibly excited to announce breakfast on the UberEATS app across London, says Toussaint Wattinne, General Manager at UberEATS. ‘Since UberEATS launched last summer we have seen Londoners ordering a range of lunch and dinner options straight to their door at the tap of a button. The launch of breakfast is the next step for UberEATS as we continue to respond to ever-growing consumer demand.’
Prior to launch, this food delivery service was only available after 11 a.m; now it is up and running from 7 a.m. Competition in the breakfast area is fierce with Deliveroo the obvious main rival. Are we going to see a food fight?
