British Wild Flower Plants is a nursery in Norfolk, England, specialising in the growing and selling of wild flowers. This is a lovely website with something to interest every gardener.
The nursery started in 1986 and has now built its catalogue up to include over 400 species. In 2000 many grasses, sedges and rushes, now so popular with gardeners, were added. Many of these are not available elsewhere.
Provenance is important to British Wild Flower Plants and only guaranteed natural seed is used. All plants are 100% peat free.
From the home page the visitor can search for plants by name, or view plants by habitat: sunny, semi-shade, wet, coastal, grass, sedge or shrub.
A catalogue without illustrations is downloadable or visitors can buy the catalogue with photographs online, or by telephone or post.
The catalogue itself has a stunning range of plants on offer. Plants can be ordered online and are despatched within 24 hours. They come in pots, mixed trays of plugs or single species trays.
Finally British Wild Flower Plants offer a seed collection service, contract growing of plants from selected seeds and a consultancy service with site visits and botanical surveys. be the first to write a mini-review for this site! |
