Rightmove is the UK's number one property website. It has made a huge impact in the property market, allowing estate agents to display their properties and giving house hunters the ideal portal for finding their dream home. Rightmove's statistics are impressive. More than 50% of all UK estate agents register their properties on Rightmove. The total value of property displayed on the site is in excess of £113 billion. The site receives over 22 million visits a month and as a result is one of the UK's largest websites, ahead of Friends Reunited, Lastminute and Easyjet.
The site is very easy to use and the time you save by visiting this excellent portal can be spent out on the road, visiting potential homes. Save properties in a special file so that you can return to them later. Register for emails, keeping you up to date on new properties on the market.

The site is jointly owned by four of the UK's biggest estate agency chains. They are Halifax, Countrywide Assured, Royal & Sun Alliance and Connells. There are 825,000 properties to buy here and abroad and rent. You can also search holiday lets for short breaks.

Search for properties by region, postcode or property type. The search results are shown in descending price order. They come with a short description and links to the estate agent. By clicking on the location, more detailed property descriptions are available.
The House Price Index is published monthly by Rightmove, giving information on current residential asking prices. The report shows changes in house prices and gives an overview of the property market in England and Wales at a specific time.
Find an Agent allows you to search for agents in a specific area. This facility is excellent. The search results show a generous list of estate agents. Telephone details, fax details and email communications are all included.
