Each section is devoted to a particular aspect of Dickens's life, work and times, ranging from an introduction to his novels to thumbnail sketches of his illustrators and an account of his American lecture tours. Content is dense but well organised with links to relevant information appearing below the left-hand menu and embedded in the text.

Characters is an A–Z listing of Dickens's characters.
