Cornflowers

Sow fast-growing annuals again to continue the display into autumn. The mid-spring sowings are all but over now, but if you remember to sow a few rows every month from April to July, you'll be kept in cut flowers all summer long. Cornflowers are good tempered things, as are nigellas and eshcholzias - every garden should have some.
