The Travelling Souk is a rather unusual website, offering a highly diverse range of gifts, accessories, jewellery, clothes, food, beauty products and more - all sold by a diverse selection of small, Fair Trade businesses from across the globe.

JUST LIKE A REAL LIFE SOUK

Just like a real life souk, you can't be sure what you might stumble across. Categories across the top of the homepage are divided into areas including Home & Garden, Fashion, Jewellery, Health & Beauty, Baby & Child, Library & Stationary – there is even a Larder, where you can find Christmas Hampers, Meat and Smoked Foods. Delve a bit deeper and you will find one-offs from every continent and could come across anything from Dried Grasses in a Leather Box Vase to flamboyant beaded necklaces in a variety of colours. Favourites at The Good Web Guide are the Traditional Vintage-Style Children's Pictures, which display charming scenes entitled Garden Magic, Springtime on the Farm, Winter Games or others, and which are heat-sealed onto wooden boards, creating a really lovely effect.

In addition to its Fair Trade credentials, The Travelling Souk attends private family venues and public events, through which is raises money for a diverse selection of charities. Likewise, if you order online, a percentage of the profit is donated to Breast Cancer Haven and the Leonard Cheshire Disability, so you can shop with an entirely clean conscience.
