Wilcon Homes was formed in 1905. They were Major Housebuilder of the Year 2001. They are currently developing over 150 sites across the country. The company builds about 4,000 houses a year.

The Homes for Sale button immediately goes into Home Search. You can search by county or by development. The latter comes with a name only and there is no immediate indication of location. However a map location search is soon to be established on the site. This latter category also includes a development called Coming soon. This will
keep the home searcher up-to-date with company developments.

The results are shown clearly and you merely move to the site of your choice. The types of properties that are on the site are shown. More details are obtained by clicking on the appropriate house style. The floor layout is revealed, together with full descriptions, including specifications. Measurements are in metric and imperial units.

They claim that they strive to make each home and development as varied and interesting as possible. Thus individual properties may vary from the illustrations.

Special Features

The Local Community covers education, leisure, shopping and travel. A location map is included. This could have been more usefully included elsewhere. However the detail of most of the subjects is such that the new home seeker will have to refer to more authoritative local area sites elsewhere.

The 5% Deposit option states that on selected sites Wilcon Homes will pay the 5% deposit on condition that the mortgage is taken through their recommended advisors. This facility is not available on all sites and all houses.

The Part Exchange Scheme will allow you to quickly and conveniently sell your existing home but, as with the 5% option, this is only available on selected sites.
