Virgin Atlantic

Voted OAG Airline of the Year 2001, Richard Branson's ventures continue to deliver what customers want. Virgin have recently changed the entire look and feel of the site, improving its functionality. The site, as one would expect, is easy to read, navigate and use. Download times have improved drastically and the screen no longer shouts scarlet. The look is more subdued and sophisticated.

The homepage is simplicity in itself with just six categories to choose from. There is no danger of wandering off into cyber netherland.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Book Now will find you the flight you are looking for. When searching for a flight, use the View Calendar to register the date you wish to fly. This seems to speed up the process, as if you don't it might default to the realtime date. It is also possible to check flight arrivals from this category.

Flying Club earns you miles or rewards. It is divided into three levels to best match your travelling habits.

Flying Services offers Travel Classes, which gives descriptions of the three classes, Upper Class, Premium Economy and Economy. It also lists the entertainment provided on each flight.
